Casa Agraria
HOMES FOR THOSE WHO FEED US
Casa Agraria is an emerging community land trust serving rural Yolo County to
Provide affordable housing on & near working farms
Build equity for farmworkers & underserved farmers
Foster the health of the land & community
Support agricultural land access
Casas Capay Valley is Casa Agraria’s pilot project—Farmer-landowners Paul Muller and Dru Rivers are making a 4-acre site available for three homes to be built and conveyed permanently to people employed in local agriculture. Through limited-equity homeownership and a community-led governance model, Casas Capay Valley creates dignified, lasting housing and opportunity for local agricultural workers.

For thousands of years, this land has been the home of Patwin people, including the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation today. The Patwin people have remained committed to the stewardship of this land over many centuries. It has been cherished and protected, as elders have instructed the young through generations. We are honored and grateful to be working here today on their traditional lands.
