Help us close the affordability gap!

Fundraising goal - $720,000

MAKE AN IMPACT TODAY

We need community support to remove this land from the market and ensure its affordability for generations of farmers and farmworkers to come.

To offset the cost of land, management & fees, site work & construction of homes, $720,000 in community investment is needed.

The cost of new housing construction, to be borrowed from mission-aligned lender(s), will nearly be repaid by resident buy-ins.

Over $865,000 has been committed in-kind to this housing project alone.

Why give?

  • Home ownership for farmworkers and land tenure for aspiring farmers

  • Farm owners benefit from local, resilient work force and farm workers embraced as permanent community members

  • Worker commute miles reduced, and good stewardship incentivized

“This project can be a step for low-income families and people like me. I can be a homeowner for the first time and that feeling is good.”

’Chyca’, Capay Valley farmworker

“We use the word farm-worker, but we’re talking about people with decades of experience and high-level skills. They’re farmers too.”

Paul Muller, Farmer

“There are tons of benefits that this project can bring: equity, stability, community connection, and the opportunity to build generational wealth. It gives a belief that home ownership is reachable and offers hope for the future.”
