Make an impact today
We need community support to remove this land from the market and ensure its affordability for generations of farmers and farmworkers to come.
The cost of new housing construction, to be borrowed from mission-aligned lender(s), will nearly be repaid by resident buy-ins.
Fundraising goal - $2.25 million
To offset the high cost of the land, main house and additional infrastructure, and the development of a legal and governance structures that can be replicated elsewhere in the county, an additional $2.25M is needed in community investment.
*For thousands of years, this land has been the home of Patwin people, including the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation today. The Patwin people have remained committed to the stewardship of this land over many centuries. It has been cherished and protected, as elders have instructed the young through generations. We are honored and grateful to be working here today on their traditional lands.

“This project can be a step for low-income families and people like me. I can be a homeowner for the first time and that feeling is good.”
’Chyca’, Capay Valley farmworker
“We use the word farm-worker, but we’re talking about people with decades of experience and high-level skills. They’re farmers too.”
Paul
